Ohio needs jobs. I will fight for quality jobs that support families and provide health care coverage. We can build an economy where everyone who works hard can succeed. We can rebuild the middle class if we work to insure that everyone who is willing and able to work in Ohio has the opportunity to build a safe and secure future for themselves and their families. The backbone of great communities is great businesses providing great jobs for the proud workers of Ohio!

Education

WE MUST OPEN SCHOOLS AND EMPOWER TEACHERS TO INSPIRE STUDENTS TO SUCCEED

Educating our children to compete in our world economy is the single biggest challenge facing the state of Ohio today. We must empower teachers to inspire their students. If we are to remain a leader in the world economy, we must develop students who can transform knowledge into economic value by innovation, technological skills and creative enterprise. I refuse to allow the state of Ohio to abandon education as a priority for the children and young people of our state.

Agriculture

AGRICULTURE IS A WAY OF LIFE FOR MANY OHIOANS AND AN INDISPENSABLE INDUSTRY FOR OUR STATE

I will focus on policies that protect and promote farming in the state of Ohio. Agriculture is a way of life for many Ohioans and an indispensable industry for our state. Being named as a “Friend of Agriculture” by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation is a great honor and I intend to make a personal commitment to serve family farming and agribusiness in the state of Ohio.

Government Funding

WORKING TO BRING FAIRNESS AND BALANCE IN OUR TAX LAWS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL OHIOANS

We need tax relief in Ohio while supporting business, education, protecting jobs and opening our doors to new opportunities. I believe we must reduce taxes and simplify our tax code. I also understand that state and local taxed are linked. Decreasing state taxes only to require increases in local taxes is a cruel trick being played on Ohio by our current administration. I will work to bring fairness and balance in our tax laws for the benefit of all Ohioans.
